Szabo Opens Bigger Lead

Level 56 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Jason Koon was successful with a check-raise on the {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop as Gabor Szabo forfeited his continuation bet of 100,000. However, the next two pots went to Szabo who continued the trend of claiming the bigger pots in this heads-up duel.

Koon opened to 140,000 for Szabo to call and both players checked the {6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop. Szabo bet the {4-Spades} turn for 100,000 and the {j-Clubs} river for 350,000. Koon called both bets and mucked when Szabo flipped over the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a rivered pair of jacks.

"What did you have?" Szabo inquired when Koon was still holding onto his cards.

"Ace king of spades," Koon replied.
