Szabo Pulls Ahead Some

Level 53 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

In the last hand before the blinds went up, Gabor Szabo raised to 50,000 and Jason Koon called. The {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop brought a check-call for 75,000 by Koon and he also checked the {8-Diamonds} on the turn. Szabo checked back and Koon then checked the {j-Spades} on the river. The Hungarian bet 175,000 for Koon to call and revealed the {8-Spades}{6-Clubs} for jacks and eights as the winning hand.

Szabo then claimed the first small pot of the new level with a continuation bet on the {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop and increased his early lead some more.
