Roman Hrabec Eliminated in 9th Place ($32,218)

Level 31 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Hrabec eliminated by "P0t RippeR"
Hrabec eliminated by "P0t RippeR"

As the first player to act and far shortest stack, Roman Hrabec opened to 240,000 with fewer than half a big blind behind. "P0t RippeR" min-raised out of the big blind and Hrabec used a portion of his time bank before calling it off.

Roman Hrabec: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
"P0t RippeR": {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop opened some chop outs but the {2-Spades} turn and {4-Clubs} river sealed Hrabec's fate in 9th place for $32,218.

Small Pot for "P0t RippeR"

Level 31 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

The button min-raise to 160,000 by "P0t RippeR" brought along George Wolff in the big blind, who opted to check-call the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop for 160,000. No action followed on the {k-Clubs} turn and {9-Hearts} river to see Wolff turn over {9-Spades}{6-Spades} for a busted flush draw and pair. "P0t RippeR" had that beat with {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the top pair.

Two Barrels Work For Wolff; "P0t RippeR" Strikes Back

Level 31 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

George Wolff made it 176,000 to go from the button and he picked up a call by "P0t RippeR" in the big blind. On a flop of {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}, "P0t RippeR" checked and subsequently called Wolff's bet worth 120,961. Both players checked through the {5-Diamonds} turn and "P0t RippeR" check-folded the {k-Diamonds} river when facing a 464,000 bet by Wolff.

Wolff then raise-folded to a three-bet by "P0t RippeR, who also notched up another pot against Xuming "scplayer" Qi. It started with a min-raise by Qi from under the gun and a flat-call by his table neighbor along with Wolff in the big blind. Qi bet the {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop for 168,000 to earn a call from "P0t RippeR" only. The {7-Clubs} followed on the turn and Qi checked, "P0t RippeR" made it 320,000 to go and ended the hand right there in his favor.

Smiljkovic Above Seven Million Once More

Level 31 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

After raise-folding to the three-bet jam by Marius Gierse, chip leader Daniel Smiljkovic extracted revenge on his fellow German-speaking High Roller regular. Smiljkovic earned three pots in a row, which also included a confrontation with Gierse. The min-raise was answered by a jam of Smiljkovic and no call followed.

Wolff Loses Showdown to Qi

Level 30 : 35,000/70,000, 8,500 ante

Xuming "scplayer" Qi made it 147,000 to go from under the gun and earned a call by George Wolff out of the big blind. There was no betting action on the {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and {3-Diamonds} turn. Wolff opted to bet the {9-Clubs} river for 136,641 into 363,000, which earned a call from Qi.

Wolff revealed {9-Hearts}{8-Spades} for nines and treys but Qi held the superior hand with the {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

Qi Loses Bigger Pot to "P0t RippeR"

Level 30 : 35,000/70,000, 8,500 ante

In a limped battle of the blinds, the flop showed {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Xuming "scplayer" Qi check-called a bet worth 70,000 by "P0t RippeR". The {10-Spades} on the turn was checked and Qi check-called another 210,000 with {9-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a pair of nines. It was no good as "P0t RippeR" won the pot with {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for the bottom two pair.

"P0t RippeR" then lost a small portion of the profit when he bet the minimum twice on the {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop and {3-Hearts} turn, check-folding to the shove by Roman Hrabec on the {k-Spades} river.

Gierse Gets Through With a Jam

Level 30 : 35,000/70,000, 8,500 ante

There was no major action during the first few hands of the day except for one. Chip leader Daniel Smiljkovic opened to 210,000 out of the small blind and Marius Gierse opted to jam it in for more than 1.8 million out of the big blind.

Smiljkovic used the "good luck" emoji but sent his cards into the muck rather swiftly.
