Dario Sammartino Eliminated in 5th Place ($46,214)

Level 27 : 0/16,000, 16,000 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

As the far shortest stack, Dario Sammartino opened to 180,225 with 20,000 behind. Daniel Dvoress three-bet to 340,450 and Sammartino called it off.

Dario Sammartino: {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Daniel Dvoress: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop propelled Sammartino into the lead and he remained there on the {8-Hearts} turn. However, the {a-Diamonds} river improved Dvoress to the superior pair and Sammartino had to settle for 5th place.

Vieira Chips Up

Level 27 : 0/16,000, 16,000 ante

Joao Vieira raised it up to 96,000 during three hands and claimed the antes in each of them. In the meanwhile, Dario Sammartino found no spot to get his chips in and was thus blinded down further due to the ante in each hand.

Sam Greenwood Eliminated in 6th Place ($33,413)

Level 27 : 0/16,000, 16,000 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Sam Greenwood opted to get his last 496,220 as the second player to act and the action folded all the way to chip leader Radmir "KOPOBA" Sadirov. The Russian called and the cards were turned over.

Sam Greenwood: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Radmir "KOPOBA" Sadirov: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop gave Sadirov middle set while Greenwood had a gutshot and flush draw. Some outs vanished on the {6-Hearts} turn and Greenwood was now in need of spades to double. What followed was the blank {9-Diamonds} and that sent the Canadian to the rail in 6th place for $33,413.

Mukoro "AnonAnomaly" Gberevbie Eliminated in 7th Place ($24,159)

Level 27 : 0/16,000, 16,000 ante
Gberevbie eliminated by Vieira
Gberevbie eliminated by Vieira

The action kicked off with an open shove by Joao Vieira as the first player to act for 634,397. Mukoro "AnonAnomaly" Gberevbie called all-in from the hjack for 555,655 and all other players sent their cards into the virtual muck.

Mukoro "AnonAnomaly" Gberevbie: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Joao Vieira: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

It was a classic flip and Vieira prevailed on a board of {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, which improved him to jacks full of nines.

Showdown Pot for Sadirov

Level 27 : 0/16,000, 16,000 ante

Dario Sammartino and Daniel Dvoress limped in, while chip leader Radmir "KOPOBA" Sadirov checked his option. On the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop, Sadirov bet 40,000 and Sammartino check-called. The {a-Diamonds} turn was checked and the same also applied for the {8-Diamonds} river.

Sammartino tabled {q-Spades}{j-Spades} and Sadirov had that beat with the {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

Joao Vieira and Sadirov then got through with open-shoves to collect the antes.

The 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Events will determine another WSOP gold bracelet winner as of 5.01 pm UTC. In a field of 144 entries, seven players remain in the mix for the largest slice of the $684,000 prize pool in Event #18: $5,000 Short Deck Championship. This includes three former bracelet winners and two first-time finalists.

Radmir "KOPOBA" Sadirov sits atop the leaderboard with a significant lead as he holds nearly half of the chips in play. His stack of 4,131,749 represents 258 antes, which is more than three times as many as Second-placed Yen-Liang "yao_poker" Yao (1,305,762). The player from Taiwan will aim to finish one spot better than his runner-up finish in Event #6: $200 FLIP & GO NO-Limit Hold'em.

Third in chips is Mukoro "AnonAnomaly" Gberevbie who appears to represent Ireland according to the GGPoker client.
