Zunqing "Iwant2callU" Li and "kakamakadu" had clashed very early on and they both got their chips in once more as a slightly shorter-stacked player from Finland was at risk on the {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

"kakamakadu": {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Zunqing "Iwant2callU" Li: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

The {2-Hearts} turn and {a-Diamonds} river provided no help, instead Li improved to aces full.

5 Things You Don’t Know About the WSOP Online at GGPoker

Level 6 : 350/700, 0 ante

Now through the first part of September, the WSOP Online will be exclusively on GGPoker, so whether you're playing on the client for the first time or you're a seasoned online pro, we thought we'd bring you five things you didn't know about the WSOP Online on GGPoker.

  • 1. STAKING on DAY 2:
    Poker fans and players can now buy a piece of their favourite player's action or sell their own should they survive Day 1 of phased tournaments.
  • 2. Convert Multiple Event Tickets into T$
    After the series has finished, your unused tickets will be exchanged for T$ that you can use to enter any tournament on GGPoker
  • 3. Pick Your Own WSOP Event
    When the WSOP Online schedule on GGPoker was announced, the poker community was intrigued to see a new type of bracelet event announced! Three 'People's Choice' events were announced, with the formats and buy-ins yet to be announced.
  • 4. Best Stack Forward
    Any player that makes it to the end of a Day 1 with a stack is allowed to take part in additional Day 1s if they want to, providing they have not exceeded the maximum number of re-entries.
    However, if a player finishes multiple Day 1s with chips, only the highest chip stack will go to Day 2.
  • 5. Take Advantage of Bubble Protection
    GGPoker's popular Bubble Protection is available throughout the WSOP Online. It's available for all non-phase events with buy-ins less than $999. This means that if you register before the start of play and go on to bubble the tournament, you'll receive your buy-in back.

Among those to bow out recently were Hun Wei Lee and "PostmanPat7v" among others, with the latter sending over his stack to Phillip "sushami" Willcocks. The Finn had put his hopes on the nut flush draw but was drawing dead to a flopped full house, nines over tens.

FoldemBuddy eliminated

In the previous hand, Andres "vergafuera" Ojeda flopped top set while Daniel "FoldemBuddy" Embleton hit the nut straight and the inevitable clash followed. Ojeda paired up on the river and that left the Aussie short.

They went for it again preflop and Embleton was the player at risk.

Daniel "FoldemBuddy" Embleton: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Andres "vergafuera" Ojeda: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}

On a board of {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}, Embleton managed to use the "running cold" emoji right before hitting the rail.

In three-way action to the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, Nino "CPUrul0r" Ullmann got out of the way when "chinotttt" bet 10,575. "abush" check-raised the pot to 45,825 and then called the shove of "chinotttt" for very few chips more.

"chinotttt": {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
"abush": {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

The {6-Hearts} turn made things spicy but the {5-Clubs} river was a blank.

Krishna Busts in Three-Way All-In

Level 5 : 300/600, 0 ante

All the chips went into the middle on a three-way turn of {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} as Ravali "Resurge-" Krishna was the shortest player and at risk, joined by Jose "2ducklings" Nascimento and table big stack Hun Wei Lee.

Ravali "Resurge-" Krishna: {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Jose "2ducklings" Nascimento: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Hun Wei Lee: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Lee had a big draw to crack two sets but the {8-Diamonds} river changed nothing, as Krishna hit the rail.

Joentausta Takes From Wu

Level 4 : 250/500, 0 ante

Aku Joentausta raised to 1,500 and was called by Yuanning "icekey888" Wu in the big blind. Wu proceeded to check-call three streets worth 2,438, 6,095 and 20,316 on the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board.

Joentausta tabled the {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for the nuts and Wu held {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} for top set and the busted nut flush draw.
