Livingston Gets Short

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Alex Livingston lost two small pots, one of which was without showdown against fellow short stack Corey Burbick when he check-folded the {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} turn to a bet of 600,000.

David Vedral then raised to 400,000 and he was called by Duey Duong in the small blind and Steven Parrott in the big blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and the action checked to Vedral, who bet 450,000. Duong raised to 1,300,000 and that won the pot without further resistance.

Ahrens Doubles Through Manole

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Christopher Ahrens shoved all in from the hijack for 2,500,000. Mihai Manole, the other short stack at the table, re-shoved for 3,850,000. The rest of the table folded and the two hands were tabled.

Christopher Ahrens: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Mihai Manole: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Ahrens was in a dominating position and the flop of {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs} gave him a pair of kings. Manole actually picked up more outs with a straight draw but neither the {9-Clubs} or {6-Hearts} would save him in this situation.

Adam Duong

Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 550,000 and Adam Duong three-bet to in the small blind to 3,625,000, keeping 50,000 behind. Dzivielevski four-bet to put Duong all-in. Duong made the call in the end when the floor was called over for the clock.

Adam Duong: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {k-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for them both to flop a pair but keep Dzivielevski ahead with the kings.

The turn was the {j-Clubs} which meant that any ten would chop the pot but the river completed the board with the {7-Spades} for Duong to be eliminated in 46th place for $173,015.
