Bracchi Wounds Pratt

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The dealer was counting out Nicola Bracchi's stack for a double up as his {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} was showing as the winner on a board of {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}. Denise Pratt was the player who's stack was being raided to add to Bracchi's to create a big shift in chip dynamics at the table and leave Pratt short.

Campbell Doubles Through Jain

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Roger Campbell defended his big blind against a button raise by Shashank Jain and check-shoved the {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop for the last 98,500, which Jain called.

Roger Campbell: {10-Spades}{5-Spades}
Shashank Jain: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The {10-Hearts} turn improved Campbell to a pair of tens and he held up on the {4-Hearts} river to secure a double.

Loehrs Wins a Flip

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

On a table filled with notables such as Eric Baldwin and Max Steinberg, Jason Loehrs raised first to act and called the shove of a shorter stack. It was a flip with the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for Loehrs and the {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for the player at risk.

Nothing changed on the {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, but Loehrs hit the {k-Diamonds} turn to take the lead. A blank {6-Diamonds} fell on the river and Loehrs raked in the pot.

Big Call for Hu

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

David Hu and Stephen Hyvonen were in a pot on the river with the former first to act. On a {7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Spades} board, Hu checked to Hyvonen, who bet 22,000 into the pot. Hu had 82,000 left at that point and he took his time making his decision. He threw a chip in to signify a call and they flipped their cards on their backs.

David Hu: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Stephen Hyvonen: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Hu took the pot with ace-high and after dropping to just 60,000 earlier, this pot puts him in a much stronger stead, with 50 big blinds to play with.

Hachem Bluffs Off a Chunk

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

On a completed board of {6-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, Joe Hachem bet 30,500 from the big blind into a pot of around 40,000. Nabil Abdien was in there with a quick call from the button and his {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} was way good against {q-}{j-}.

JohnnyBax Delivers a Knockout

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Cliff Josephy
Cliff Josephy

Following a 12,000-raise from the cutoff, Shyam Srinivasan flatted on the button and Cliff Josephy called in the small blind.

All players checked the {6-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-Spades} flop and Josephy led out 32,000 on the {2-Clubs} turn. The cutoff called and Srinivasan folded.

The {6-Diamonds} river paired the board and Josephy announced he was all in, covering his opponent's remaining 135,500. The other player took about 15 seconds and then called.

Josephy turned up {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a rivered boat and the other player exposed {j-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flopped flush with unfortunate consequences.

"Sick runout," Josephy said and the other player stood up, saying, "Good luck, folks," before leaving Amazon Orange.
