Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Luke Martinelli
Luke Martinelli

Luke Martinelli just took his seat here in the purple section of the Amazon room and has over a million in chips.

The board read {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} with 18,000 in the middle already. Martinelli bet 9,000 from the small blind and the player in the late position called to see the {7-Diamonds} complete the board. They both checked through for Martinelli's opponent to pick up the pot with {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the pair of nines.

Some Value for Hein

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On the river of a board {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Hans Joachim Hein led for 9,000 and the button reluctantly called. Hein turned over the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a full house and the button mucked.

Antonio Esfandiari
Antonio Esfandiari

A player in early position limped and Govert Metaal also limped on the button before Antonio Esfandiari moved all in for 46,500 from the small blind. The first player moved all in and Govert Metaal folded.

"We were both trapping, huh?" said Metaal as Esfandiari showed {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} against his opponent's {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The board came {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Esfandiari dodged straight outs to double up.

Georgios Sotiropoulos (in a previous event)
Georgios Sotiropoulos (in a previous event)

Georgios Sotiropoulos's Main Event has come to an end in one of the last hands of Level 12. After getting short, Sotiropoulos got it all in with {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} against Zackary Koerper who held {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. The board ran out {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades} and the Greek won't be making his second final table of the series, not in this event at least.

Moshe Eliminated by Campanello

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Asi Moshe
Asi Moshe

Asi Moshe raised from the second position and a player in the hijack three-bet to 20,000 before Bryan Campanello cold-four bet to 75,000 out of the small blind. Moshe moved all in for 138,000 and the next player folded. Campanello called.

Moshe turned up {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, and while it would normally be a fair race with {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}, Moshe knew he was in trouble as the hijack announced that he had folded ace-king.

Moshe bricked out on the board of {8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and he wished good luck to the table before leaving.
