Not Another Milly for Gorsuch

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
John Gorsuch during the Millionair Maker Final Table
John Gorsuch during the Millionair Maker Final Table

John Gorsuch won the Millionaire Maker a few weeks back for $1,344,930 but won't be adding more money to that win here in the Main Event as he has just been eliminated by Marcelo Delgado.

Gorsuch was kind enough to tell the team that Delgado had raised to 6,500 from the early position and two other players called. He shoved his last 42,000 in from the small blind with {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} and was called by Delgado who held {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

The board ran out {j-}{2-}{2-}{3-}{7-} for Delgado to flop two pair and Gorsuch to not find any help on the turn nor river to stay alive.

Cunningham Doubles Up

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Allen Cunningham
Allen Cunningham

All the money went in on a {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop with one player holding {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and drawing to a gutshot straight draw against Allen Cunningham's flopped set {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and the river the {5-Diamonds} improving Cunningham to a full house, and he doubled for 207,000 right before the table broke.

Kurganov Raises the Flop

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Sitting on the button, Igor Kurganov flatted a 7,000-raise from his neighbor and a player in the big blind joined them to the flop.

The opener fired 17,000 and Kurganov threw in two greens, making it 50,000. Both of his opponents folded and Kurganov raked in the pot.

Kurganov Drops Some

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Igor Kurganov
Igor Kurganov

Igor Kurganov raised to 7,500 in the cutoff, getting called by his left-hand opponent and Timothy Su from the big blind.

Su and Kurganov checked the {7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades} flop and the third player fired 10,000. Su folded and Kurganov called.

The {9-Hearts} turn saw Kurganov check-call another 31,000 and the {5-Diamonds} river was checked by both players.

Kurganov tabled {q-Clubs}{j-Spades} but he knuckled the felt, showing an obligatory "nice hand" gesture upon seeing his opponent roll over {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

No Raise, But Yoon Takes Pot

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a board that read {8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. John Stauffer bet 25,000 and Brian Yoon went into the tank to consider the bet. After about thirty seconds of thinking he said "I'm thinking about raising but I'm just gonna call" and made the call.

Stauffer showed {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Yoon showed the winner with the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} for a modest pot.
