Kevin Song
Kevin Song

Raul Paez raised from under the gun and Robert Como called in the hijack. Kevin Song raised from the button and the blinds folded for both Paez and Como to make the call.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}, both Paez and Como checked. Song continued with a bet that was only called by Paez.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds}, Paez took over the initiative by betting and Song called.

The river completed the board with the {9-Hearts}, Paez bet and Song raised. This upset Paez so much he got up from his chair and mumbled away, not believing what Song was doing. After a while, Paez reluctantly flicked in the chips for the call. Song tabled {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for the rivered straight. Paez showed {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

"Every time on the river!" Paez said while shaking his head and muttering some Spanish words and uttering more words to his rails.
