Day 2 of Event #72: $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championship is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. local time with at least 51 players returning to the felt here at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. As registration is open until the start, the expectation is that some more players will jump in before the first cards are dealt.
Andrew Brown will be the one leading the rest as he bagged the overnight chip lead with 337,000 in chips. He already has a bracelet and has his sights set on another one. Brown is followed by Anthony Marsico and Eli Elezra who has recently won his fourth WSOP bracelet here at the 50th Annual World Series of Poker. Other bracelet winners looking to add to their collection include Kevin Song, Robert Mizrachi, Josh Arieh, Shaun Deeb, Anson Tsang, Phil Hui, Matthew Schreiber, Tommy Hang, Martin Kabhrel, John Racener, and Benny Glaser.
Seven levels of play are scheduled for today with each level lasting 90 minutes as the duration of the levels has been increased from Day 2 onwards. A 10-minute break should take place after every level plus some extended breaks according to the structure sheet. A 60-minute dinner break will take place after Level 14 which is at approximately 8:30 p.m. When the players return, they will restart with Level 11 which has limits of 4,000/8,000.
