Day 1c of Event 64: $888 Crazy Eights No-Limit Hold’em
Welcome to Day 1c, the third of four starting flights, of Event 64: $888 Crazy Eights No-Limit Hold’em. It's one of the more unique tournaments on the World Series schedule, and it’s all about the eights. In addition to the $888 buy-in, the winner will receive $888,888 in prize money and tables are played eight-handed.
In 2018, Galen Hall outlasted 8,597 entrants to take home the $888,888 in cash, the second largest of his tournament career, and his first WSOP gold bracelet.
Players taking their seats will start with 40,000 in chips, a substantial increase over last year’s starting stack of 8,000 chips and are allowed unlimited re-entries through the close of registration. The schedule for Day 1c will consist of 19 levels at 30 minutes each, with a 20-minute break after every four levels of play. Registration will close at approximately 5:55 p.m. and those players lucky enough to find a bag at the end of play will return on Monday, July 1st at 12 noon local time and join the 209 players that have already moved on to Day 2.
