Antonios Onoufriou Eliminated in 17th Place ($20,596)

Level 40 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Antonios Onoufriou
Antonios Onoufriou

In the last hand of the previous level, Antonios Onoufriou raised to 2,200,000 and Andrew Barber called on the button, as did Maksim Kalman in the big blind. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Kalman checked, Onoufriuo continued for 3,000,000 and Barber folded. Kalman check-raised to 10,000,000 and that won the pot.

As soon as the blinds went up, Onoufriou raised to 2,500,000 and Kalman in the small blind three-bet to 10,000,000. Onoufriou pushed for 22,000,000 and Kalman quickly calld.

Antonios Onoufriou: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Maksim Kalman: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop improved Kalman to a pair of aces and he jumped out of his seat in celebration. On the {9-Spades} turn and {6-Spades} river, nothing changed and Onoufriou was eliminated in 17th place for $20,596.
