Montgomery Chips Up With a Straight

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Andrey Razov claimed the first two pots of the new level and then it was up to Kyle Montgomery to boost his stack.

Daniel Alaei raised to 275,000 and Montgomery called in the small blind, as did Dash Dudley in the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} and the trio checked. Montgomery bet the {10-Diamonds} turn for 300,000 and Dudley was the only caller.

On the {k-Hearts} river, they checked it down and Montgomery announced a straight, he rolled over the {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Dudley mucked the {a-Clubs} and Montgomery took over the lead on table 403.
