Epstein Takes From Lau

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante
Alex Epstein
Alex Epstein

Ka Kwan Lau raised to 200,000 and was called by Erik Seidel from one seat over and Wasim Korkis in the big blind. On the {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop, action checked to Lau and his bet of 350,000 won the pot.

One hand later, Lau limped ion and so did Robert Mizrachi, Alex Epstein on the button and Ryan Tosoc in the big blind. The {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop was checked to Lau and he made it 250,000 to go. Only Epstein called and faced another bet of 350,000 on the {a-Spades} turn, which he also called. The {4-Clubs} on the river was checked and Lau tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a pair and busted flush draw.

Epstein had that beat with {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and raked in the pot.
