McMaster Pulls Ahead of Berilgen

Level 32 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante
Derek McMaster
Derek McMaster

Derek McMaster raised to 240,000 from the button and big blind Jason Berilgen called to defend his big blind.

The flop was dealt {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and both players were only playing for the high hand. Berilgen check-called a bet of 120,000 on that flop and the turn was dealt {4-Hearts}.

Berilgen check-called a bet of 240,000 on the turn and did the same on the {7-Clubs} river.

McMaster showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} and his full house was more than enough to take down the pot.

John Esposito Eliminated in 3rd Place ($98,807)

Level 32 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante
John Esposito
John Esposito

Derek McMaster opened from the button, John Esposito called in the small blind and Jason Berilgen defended his big blind. The dealer spread out {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts} on the flop and action checked to Esposito who pushed in a bet.

McMaster ducked and Bergilsen check-raised. Esposito moved all in over the top for 270,000 total and Berilgen called the additional 20,000.

Esposito tabled {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a pair of tens along with straight and flush draws. Berilgen turned over {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a pair of jacks with a straight draw.

The turn came down a {5-Clubs} and Esposito now picked up some more outs to take down the pot. A {3-Diamonds} hit the felt as a river card and failed to connect with Esposito as he was eliminated by the better high and low hand of Berilgen.
