Hands #39-43: Guilbert Chips Up

Level 39 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Hand #39: A walk for short stack Jan Lakota.

Hand #40: First to act, Johan Guilbert limped in and David Lambard checked his option in the big blind. The flop came {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Lambard check-folded to a min bet of Guilbert.

Hand #41: Lambard limped the small blind and Guilbert checked in the big blind. The {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop was checked by Lambard and Guilbert checked back to see the {2-Clubs} on the turn. Lambard made it 50,000 to go and Guilbert raised to 170,000, which forced a fold from Lambard.

Hand #42: Guilbert limped from the small blind and Andrew Lichtenberger raised to 135,000 from the big blind, Guilbert called. The flop brought {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Guilbert min-bet for 40,000 to claim the pot.

Hand #43: Lakota moved all in first to act for 325,000 and Guilbert asked for a count, but folded. All other players sent their cards into the muck and Lakota raked in urgently needed chips.
