Ben Farrell Eliminated in 6th Place ($37,341)

Level 39 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ben Farrell
Ben Farrell

Hand #38: Farrell shoved for 450,000 from under the gun and David Lambard also shoved with the bigger stack for the rest of the table to fold.

Ben Farrell: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
David Lambard: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs} for Farrell to flop a pair of tens.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} to not change the situation. Only another ten or ace could save Farrell's tournament life but he bricked the river as the {j-Clubs} fell to complete the board and keep Lambard ahead.

The Brit was sent to the rail in sixth place for $37,341.

Ben Farrell

Hand #31: Ben Farrell moved all in for 425,000 in the hijack and Andrew Lichtenberger called out of the big blind.

Ben Farrell: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Andrew Lichtenberger: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}

On a board of {k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, the pocket pair held up and Farrell doubled to nearly even out the stacks.

Hand #32: David Lambard opened to 100,000 in the cutoff and Weiyi Zhang called in the big blind. The flop brought {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Zhang checked, Lambard continued for 115,000 and found no further resistance.

Hand #33: Lichtenberger min-raised to 80,000 on the button and Farrell three-bet to 210,000 out of the big blind. After some consideration, Lichtenberger folded and the pot was awarded to Farrell.

Hand #34: Another raise to 80,000 by Lichtenberger, this time from the cutoff, kicked things off. Jan Lakota called in the big blind and they headed to the {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop. Lakota checked and called a bet of 50,000 by Lichtenberger to see the {7-Clubs} appear on the turn.

Lakota checked once more and Lichtenberger fired a second barrel for 100,000. That did the trick, as Lakota sent his cards into the muck.

Hand #35: Lichtenberger raised to 80,000 in the hijack and Farrell called on the button. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} and Lichtenberger checked, Farrell checked it back. On the {5-Hearts} turn, Lichtenberger bet 90,000 and that won the pot uncontested.
