Benson Chops to Survive

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Brian Rast: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts} / {x-}
Gary Benson: {x-}{x-} / {7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Spades} / {x-}
Andrey Zaichenko: {x-}{x-} / {6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts} / {x-}

Gary Benson was already all in on fourth when Brian Rast check-called a bet by Andrey Zaichenko. Fifth and sixth repeated the same action and Rast also checked seventh. Zaichenko bet again and Rast called very reluctantly.

Zaichenko showed {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of eights and a low, while Benson had {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a pair of treys and superior low. Rast grabbed all his cards, studied them carefully and tossed em into the muck.
