Bicknell Shoves on Schiff

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Emile Schiff raised to 1,800 from mid-position and was called by Kristen Bicknell in the big blind.

The flop came {3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, Bicknell check-called the 1,600 continuation-bet of Schiff.

The turn was the {7-Spades} and Bicknell checked again. Schiff barreled another bet over the line, now for 6,200 which sent Bicknell into the tank. Bicknell looked at her own stack, put it all together and then put them all over the line for the all-in. Schiff asked for a count and the dealer confirmed the amount was 26,800 in total. Schiff reflected for a few seconds before opting to fold.

Karmatckii Takes Big Pot From Dyer

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

With the board reading {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts} Arsenii Karmatckii had raised to 15,000 following a bet from Michael Dyer.

Dyer played with his chips and mulled things over before moving all in. Karmatckii snap called for the rest of his chips and showed the {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Dyer rolled over his thoroughly dominated {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

The river was the {9-Clubs} to confirm the double up and sink Dyer's stack into deep trouble.

Bonomo Takes From Blumstein

Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Fresh off of his 11th place finish in the $10,000 Short Deck No-Limit Hold'em event, Justin Bonomo found himself in a pot of about 23,000 vs Scott Blumstein where the board read {3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. They exchanged cagey checks on the turn to bring the {5-Hearts} on the river.

Bonomo was first to act on the river and checked again. Blumstein seemed to consider it for a moment but decided to check back. Bonomo showed the {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for the winning hand as Blumstein mucked.

Hallaert Dodges Outs to Double Up

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

From the cutoff Kenny Hallaert bet 3,000 into a flop that read {8-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades}. His opponent on his right raised to 9,500 which Hallaert called.

The turn was the {a-Hearts}. Hallaert then moved all in after a check for his remaining 12,600. After a couple of moments, his opponent put in the call.

Hallaert was ahead with two pair when he showed the {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} but had several cards to fade as he was up against the {q-Spades}{j-Spades}. The river was a {2-Diamonds} brick however and handed Hallaert an important double up.

More for Jones

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Ben Jones raised to 1,300 from under the gun and was called by the players in the hijack and the button.

They all checked through the {4-Spades}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} on the flop to the {7-Spades} on the turn. Jones bet 5,500 and only the hijack called.

The river completed the board with the {j-Clubs} and they both checked again. Jones tabled {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} for the rivered pair of jacks and that was enough to make his opponent muck his hand.
