Rheem Doubles Through Wolf

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Chino Rheem
Chino Rheem

Chino Rheem was all in for his last 277,000 with {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} against the {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} of Daniel Wolf.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Wolf started calling for cards which would give him a straight draw. The turn {k-Diamonds} wasn't one of them, and now Rheem started calling for a king for both players to chop the pot.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Rheem secured his double up.

Lynskey Hits a Set

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Bart Lybaert raised from the cutoff, and he got just the one call, which came from Alex Lynskey in the big blind. When the flop came down {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Spades}, Lynskey check-called a 100,000 bet from Lybaert before the {4-Diamonds} turn was revealed.

Lynskey again check-called a bet, this time for 205,000. The river was the {6-Spades}, and both players checked to a showdown. Lynskey tabled {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for the flopped set, and Lybaert conceded the pot to the Austrailian.

Sabia Eliminates Gonzalez

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Four players saw a flop of {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{a-Clubs} at Table 528. The big blind checked, Artur Koren bet 75,000 and Matt Sabia called in middle position on his left. Carlos Gonzalez made it 240,000 and action folded back to Sabia, who called. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Sabia checked. Gonzalez jammed for about 700,000. Sabia got the count of 680,000 and sighed and shook his head. About a minute later, he dropped in some chips to call.

Matt Sabia: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Carlos Gonzalez: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Gonzalez's trips were smashed by the better kicker and the {j-Hearts} river meant it was payout time for Gonzalez.

Quad Aces for Volpe

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Paul Volpe
Paul Volpe

Paul Volpe raised to 55,000 from under the gun and Aram Zobian re-raised to 165,000 from middle position. It folded back to Volpe who called and they went heads up to the {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop.

Volpe checked, Zobian checked behind and the dealer burned and turned the {a-Clubs}. Again both players checked and the {4-Diamonds} completed the board.

Volpe checked for a third time and Zobian thought it over for a few moments and checked back. Volpe turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} for quad aces and Zobian showed {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} before tossing his hand into the muck.

Minkin Flops Trips on Lanzerstorfer to Soar to 5 Million

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Kelly Minkin
Kelly Minkin

Jaime Kaplan opened to 50,000 from under the gun, and Roman Lanzerstorfer called in the cutoff, as did Kelly Minkin from the big blind.

The flop landed {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, and action checked to Lanzerstorfer who bet 115,000. Minkin called, and Kaplan folded as the turn fell the {Q-Clubs}.

Minkin checked, Lanzerstorfer bet 185,000, and Minkin check-raised to 550,000. After some consideration, Lanzerstorfer made the call and the river of the {10-Clubs} completed the board.

Minkin pushed out a stack of chips amounting to 900,000, and after roughly three minutes in the tank, Lanzerstorfer called.

Minkin tabled her {A-Spades}{4-Clubs} for trips, and Lanzerstorfer mucked.

Teh Doubles Through

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Natalie Teh moved all in from the cutoff for her last 405,000. 2016 November Niner and third place finisher Cliff Josephy was in the small blind and re-raised all in. The big blind folded.

Natalie Teh: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Cliff Josephy: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}

"I knew that was going to happen," said Josephy as he saw his opponent's cards.

Teh's hand held up on the {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} with Josephy missing his gutshot, with Teh doubling to just under 900,000 in chips.
