Minkin Doubles With Kings

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Kelly Minkin
Kelly Minkin

The action folded around to Shannon Shorr on the button, and he raised to 125k. Kelly Minkin was in the small blind and three-bet to 340k. The player in the big blind folded and Shorr made the call.

The flop came down {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, and Minkin bet 285k. Shorr responded by betting enough to put her all in, and she snap-called.

Kelly Minkin: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Shannon Shorr: {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The turn was the {j-Clubs}, which took away some of Shorr's outs, and the river {5-Clubs} secured Minkin's double-up with the over pair to the board.

On a flop of {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}, Ubaid Habib checked from the big blind to Nicholas Cushman on the button. Cushman bet 90,000 and Habib check-raised to 275,000 which Cushman called.

The turn was the {3-Hearts} and Habib announced all in, putting Cushman to the test for his remaining 950,000 chips. Cushman tanked for nearly two minutes before finally letting his hand go and Habib raked in the pot.

Lee Eliminated by Dominguez-Depaz

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Stanley Lee
Stanley Lee

Hector Dominguez-Depaz opened with a raise to 110,000 from early position and action folded around to Stanley Lee who was in the cutoff. He shoved all in for 915,000 and action folded back to Dominguez-Depaz. He took a second look at his cards then called.

Hector Dominguez-Depaz: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Stanley Lee: {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Dominguez-Depaz was in the lead and he retained it on the {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop. The {8-Clubs} on the turn did give Lee a whole slew of extra outs, but the river was the {10-Spades} and that wasn't one of them. Dominguez-Depaz collected the pot, chipping up to around four million while Lee hit the rail.

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

In what looked like a three-bet pot, Jorden Fox check-called from middle position against Ryan Rivers on his left, who bet 425,000 on {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

The {10-Diamonds} hit and Fox bet out 550,000. Rivers quickly folded and some folks standing on the rail congratulated Fox on the nice pot.

Cordell Rakes One In With a Turned Set

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Catching action on a flop board of {J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} with three players involved in the hand and Joey Fabre put out a bet of 225,000. Mike Cordell called from the cutoff while the third player in the hand folded.

The river was the {10-Hearts} and Fabre checked this time. Cordell put out a bet of 350,000 and Fabre didn't waste too long calling. Cordell showed {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and his turned set was good for him to scoop the pot.

"I didn't know you were calling," Cordell said after the hand to justify his play. "If I had known you were calling I would've never put another chip in the pot. But I thought I had him beat still."

Xi Doubles Through Beylin

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Ming Xi was all in for 650,000 from the small blind when we arrived at his table but his {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} was dominated by the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} of Konstantin Beylin.

The {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades} brought nothing for Xi but he whipped out his phone to record the river card and it was the {q-Spades} to give him a double.
