Rughani Doubles Through Fabre

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Vivek Rughani raised to 500,000 from early position and Joey Fabre called from the hijack.

The flop came down {J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Rughani bet his remaining 5,000, and Fabre called with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}, trailing Rughani's {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}.

The {3-Hearts} turn and {10-Hearts} river completed the board, safe for Rughani to double up.

Dos Santos Eliminates Desai

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Victor Pedote Dos Santos opened to 80,000 under the gun and got one call before small blind Anthony Desai stuck his 400,000-or-so in. Dos Santos reraised to isolate but his {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} was dominated by {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. The {4-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop changed that in a hurry, though, and Desai took his leave on the wrong end of a beat after the {8-Diamonds} and {8-Clubs} completed the board.

Barry Hutter
Barry Hutter

Barry Hutter came back from dinner with a top-ten stack, and when we got to his table, Nils Tolpingrud had checked a board of {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Hutter had bet 325,000.

Tolpingrud called and the river was the {2-Hearts}. Tolpingrud checked and Hutter bet 875,000. Tolpingrud thought before calling and Hutter showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a set of sevens and took down the pot.

DiVella Doubles Through Pollak with a Good River

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Nick DiVella moved all in before the flop for a bit more than 400,000. Benjamin Pollak was next to act and he just called while the rest of the table folded around, bringing the two players to a showdown.

Benjamin Pollak: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Nick DiVella: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and that gave DiVella a winning pair of sevens on the river to double up.

"Hi, mom!" DiVella said after the hand, waving at the ESPN cameras that had gathered around.

"She says, 'Nice river,'" another player at the table said.

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Double Knockout for Lack Propels Him to Six Million Chips

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hari Bercovici limped in from early position and action folded around to Greg Perry who moved all in for about 150,000. Next to act, Pierre Gentil moved all in over the top for roughly 700,000, and in the small blind, Randall Lack called both shoves. Action was back on Bercovici and he folded promptly, bringing the three players to an all-in showdown.

Randall Lack: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Gregory Perry: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Pierre Gentil: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

Lack was in the lead as the three hands went to the flop and he retained it as the board rolled out {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. With his ace-king kickers to the board, Lack would scoop the pot and move to right around six million chips.

Kim is Excited

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

After an open in middle position to 90,000, Hyon Kim called in the small blind. Ivan Luca made it 360,000 in the big and it went three ways to {7-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Everyone checked, bringing the {6-Hearts}. Kim checked, Luca bet 340,000 and only Kim called. The river was a {2-Clubs} and both players checked. Kim slammed down {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for a set, knowing it was good if Luca checked.

"Bang, baby!" he shouted before raking in the pot.
