Coffman Taken Out by Shaw

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The action folded around to Sharukh Shaw in the cutoff, and he raised. Eric Coffman moved all in from the small blind, and only Shaw called.

Sharukh Shaw: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Eric Coffman {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Board: {5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Shaw's lead held on the flop, but Coffman increased his outs with an up-and-down straight draw. The turn gave Shaw a set, and river was no help to Coffman, and he was eliminated.

Rollercoaster Ride for Esfandiari

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Antonio Esfandiari
Antonio Esfandiari

After a series of preflop raises, Antonio Esfandiari got all of his chips in the middle against Daniel Tang. Esfandiari was all in for 1,415,000 which was about half of Tang's stack.

Antonio Esfandiari: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Daniel Tang: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Esfandiari had a comfortable lead with his pocket kings against Tang's one overcard. However, the flop came {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Tang spiked an ace to take the lead. The dealer burned and turned the {k-Clubs} on the turn and Esfandiari jumped out of his seat as screams could be heard throughout the room.

Esfandiari just realized that it wasn't over yet as he came rushing back to the table to see the river card. Tang would need to hit a ten on the river but it was the {q-Hearts} that completed the board. Esfandiari scored a huge double up to keep his Main Event hopes alive.

Harvell Fades Lee's Trap

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Justin Harvell
Justin Harvell

Stanley Lee opened with a raise to 55,000 and he found resistance from Justin Harvell in the form of a three-bet in late position to 165,000. Action folded back to Lee and he called.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {6-Clubs} on the turn. There, Lee checked again. Harvell put out a bet of 255,000 and Lee just called.

Lee checked again on the {A-Diamonds} river and Harvell checked behind.

"I thought for sure you were jamming on that river," Lee said after letting out a sigh. He showed his {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a full house and Harvell mucked his hand.
