Violette Calls the River, Wins Without Showdown

It folded around to Cyndy Violette on the button and she raised to 1,700. Mark Smith called from the small blind and the player in the big blind called as well.

The flop came down and Smith chose to lead out with a bet of 1,600. The big blind folded but Violette called in position.

Sinclair Busts; Burden Wins a Big One

With a completed board of showing and 9,200 in the middle, Jack Sinclair bet 10,000 and Kevin Calenzo moved all in for only 13,500. Sinclair was pained and had a dry smile on the face. Adrian Mateos secured a vital double-up just a few hands ago and his using his increased stack to put the pressure on this opponents.

After there was a raise from early position, a call from the player in the small blind, and a call from Mateos in the big blind the flop came down . After both players in the blinds checked the initial raiser bet 2,200. The small blind called, and Mateos contemplated his decision.

Mateos raised to 8,500, and the initial raiser needed a minute or so to think before he let his hand go and the small blind quickly followed suit to allow the Spaniard to pick up the pot.

Arne Comis raised to 1,600 from the early position and was called by Andrew Boccia (mid-position), Keith Lutz (hijack), Phil Ivey (cutoff) and Jasvel Saigal in the big blind.

The flop came , both Saigal and Comis checked. Boccia bet 5,500, Lutz looked at his cards once more and then folded. Ivey called. Saigal decided to shove and Comis now quickly folded. Boccia looked at Saigal and asked for a count. The ESPN camera crew quickly came over to the table as they saw that a pot was developing on Ivey's table.

The dealer confirmed the all-in was for 16,600 in total. Boccia called and so did Ivey.

They both checked through the on the turn to the on the river. Boccia checked and Ivey looked at the board. He then glanced at Boccia and bet 20,000. Boccia tanked, after about two or three minutes, he removed the card protector and looked at his cards again. He then reluctantly folded.
