Kitai Bets Big on the River to Win

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante
Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

The action folded around to Davidi Kitai on the button and he raised to 750 which Justin Bond called. The flop fell {4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, and Kitai bet 725 after he was checked to. Bond raised to 1,500 and Kitai responded by three-betting to 2,725, which Bond called.

On the {j-Spades} turn, Bond check-called a 4,200 bet, and on the {j-Hearts} river, Bond was put to the test when Kitai bet 15,000.

Bond had to think about his decision for several minutes at the ESPN Feature table but reluctantly folded and allowed Kitai to pick up the pot.

Gerhart's Queens Work

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante
Kevin Gerhart earlier this summer
Kevin Gerhart earlier this summer

Kevin Gerhart told us that he'd raised to 1,000 preflop from under the gun, two players called, the button three-bet to 4,800, Gerhart called, and both other players did the same.

Action checked through on the {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop and {6-Spades} turn.

The {10-Clubs} had just hit the river when we got to the table and Gerhart bet 8,500. All three of his opponents folded and Gerhart held his {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} aloft for all to see as the dealer pushed the pot his way.

Antonius Steam Rolling His Table

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

The board read {5-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and an opponent under the gun checked to Patrik Antonius who bet 9,000 into a pot around 18,000.

His opponent thought for a moment and then made the call. The river came the {6-Hearts}, the action was checked to Antonius who bet 35,000 and his opponent then went into the tank, after several minutes of thought he hit the fold button and Antonius added to his growing stack.

Hohner Gets Three Streets from Selbst

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Ryan Hohner raised to 900 from under the gun and Jeff Fielder called from the cutoff. Vanessa Selbst called from the big blind and they went three handed to the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop.

Selbst checked and Hohner continued with a bet of 1,600. Fielder quickly folded and Selbst called. They went heads-up to the {2-Diamonds} turn and Selbst check-called a bet of 4,900.

The river was the {j-Diamonds} and Selbst checked to Hohner who bet 6,600. Selbst stared at Hohner and went deep into the tank and after nearly a minute she threw in the call. Hohner turned over {a-Spades}{2-Spades} for aces up and Selbst fired her hand into the muck.

Farrell on a Shipment Stack

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Niall Farrell has fared poorly in the early levels here on Day 1c. Reduced to just 5,500 or so, he jammed all in preflop in a recent hand to scoop up the blinds and antes, but the British crusher is in need of some heat with only about 15 big blinds still.
