Hands #14-15: Dyer and Cynn Chip Up
Hand #14: Nicolas Manion raised to 1,400,000 from the hijack and Michael Dyer came along from the button. The flop came and Manion continued for 1,800,000, Dyer quickly called and they headed to the turn.
Manion now slowed down and checked, and Dyer bet 2,350,000. That was all it took to claim the hand right there, as Manion tossed his cards into the muck.
After the hand, the chants came from all corners of the Thunderdome and even the wave went through the crowd.
Hand #15: First to act, John Cynn raised to 1,300,000 and Artem Metalidi called out of the big blind. The flop fell and Metalidi checked, Cynn continued for 1,400,000 and Metalidi gave it some thought before throwing in calling chips. On the turn, Metalidi checked again and Cynn now made it 2,200,000 to go.
That sent Metalidi into the think tank, and he needed more than two minutes before opting to fold.
