Uemura Runs Out of Chips

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Paulino Uemura had previously open-shoved from under the gun to claim the blinds and antes, and soon after he was all in and at risk for 20 big blinds from the cutoff. Aram Zobian looked him up out of the big blind with the superior stack and better hand.

Paulino Uemura: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Amran Zobian: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The flop came {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Zobian remarked, "You picked up some outs," before adding, "I feel the queen of spades is coming," as soon as the {3-Hearts} hit on the turn.

"Don't actually do it," Zobian told the dealer, and his wish was granted with the blank {8-Spades} river.

"Good game, man," Zobian said over to Uemura, who was eliminated in 77th place for $91,610.
