Macdonald Thriving; Le Doubles Through Rasmussen

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

On the turn of a heads-up pot between Thomas Macdonald and his opponent on the button, both players invested 80,000 each with the board showing {K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Macdonald then checked the {J-Spades} on the river. His opponent checked behind and Macdonald rolled over {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} for a full house to claim the pot.

Nghia Le ended up all in and at risk for 301,000 on the {Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} flop and Jacob Ramussen looked him up with the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for top pair. Le had flopped the nut flush with {A-Spades}{10-Spades} and got the check mark for the double as soon as the {J-Clubs} appeared on the turn. The {2-Diamonds} river was a mere formality.
