Volpe Changes Gears

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante

Adam Coats limped in and Paul Volpe raised in the big blind, Coats called and checked the {Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop. Volpe bet and Coats folded.

Coats raised on the button and Volpe calls in the big blind. The flop came {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and both players checked. Volpe bet the {4-Diamonds} turn and Coats called before doing so again on the {2-Clubs} river. Volpe showed {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the wheel and scooped the pot.

Volpe raised on the button and Eli Elezra three-bet in the small blind, Volpe called. The {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} flop brought a bet by Elezra and a call. Same happened on the {5-Spades} turn before the {A-Spades} appeared on the river. Elezra bet and Volpe raised. "I am not going to reraise you," Elezra added and just called.

Volpe showed {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} for a flush and the nut low, while Elezra had {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} for the higher flush and counterfeit low.
