Zhukov Scoops Bjorin

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Viacheslav Zhukov raised in the cutoff and Chris Bjorin called out of the big blind. On the {J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, Bjorin checked and called a bet before doing so again on the {8-Hearts} turn. After the {A-Clubs} river, Bjorin checked the third street in a row and Zhukov bet, the start-of-the-day chip leader called.

Zhukov turned over the {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for aces and jacks with a seven-deuce low. Bjorin carefully studied his cards and eventually showed the {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for the worse two pair. He didn't have a qualifying low and Zhukov scooped the entire pot.
