Petrangelo Jams Into Smith

Level 13 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo opened to 375,000 from the hijack, which only Dan Smith in the cutoff called. The flop brought {Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Petrangelo made it 325,000 to go, Smith came along to see the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. Petrangelo now slowed down and checked, Smith bet 525,000 and Petrangelo called.

The river was the {9-Hearts} and Petrangelo checked once more. Smith bet 1.35 million and Petrangelo gave it some thought before check-raising all in for 9.29 million. Smith folded and Petrangelo raked in the big pot without showdown.
