Vogelsang Gets Value from Sontheimer

Level 13 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Cary Katz raised to 330,000 and Dan Smith called out of the big blind. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Smith checked, Katz continued for 600,000. Smith folded and Katz claimed the pot.

Smith limped in from the small blind the next hand and Fedor Holz checked in the big blind. On the {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, Smith bet 160,000 and Holz raised it up to 410,000. Smith sent his cards into the muck and forfeited the second pot in a row.

Steffen Sontheimer made it 380,000 to go in the cutoff and Christoph Vogelsang called in the big blind. The flop fell {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} and Vogelsang check-called a bet of 250,000. The {5-Diamonds} followed on the turn and both players opted to check. The {6-Diamonds} river triggered a bet of 450,000 by Vogelsang and he was called to show {7-Hearts}{6-Spades} for sevens and sixes to win the pot.
