Level 27 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Jordan Polk
Jordan Polk

PLO

Jesse Vilchez raised to 90,000 on the button and Jordan Polk flatted in the small blind. The flop came down {9-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and the players stuffed their chips in as Vilchez continued for 105,000. Polk potted and called for 1,695,000 million when Vilchez shoved.

Vilchez: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Polk: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Polk flopped a set while Vilchez had the nut-flush draw and aces. The {2-Hearts} turn gave Polk a full house and Vilchez could only win with an ace on the river. He didn't get one as the {10-Hearts} catapulted Polk to a gigantic chip lead.

Vilchez Rivers the Nuts

Level 27 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

PLO

Dan Matsuzuki completed in the small blind and Jesse Vilchez made it 110,000 in the big. Matsuzuki called and then called a 95,000-bet on the {K-Clubs}{A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} flop before they both checked the {5-Spades} turn. The river brought a third spade on the felt as the {6-Spades} landed and Matsuzuki checked one more time. Vilchez cut out a bet of 275,000 and Matsuzuki called.

"Flush," Vilchez said, showing {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for the nuts. Matsuzuki briefly flashed {A-}{K-} and mucked the rest of his hand.

Matsuzuki Raises the Turn

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

PLO

From big blind, Jordan Polk called a 70,000-raise from Dan Matsuzuki on the button. Matsuzuki checked back on {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Polk led out 50,000 on {Q-Diamonds} turn. Matsuzuki, however, tossed in 125,000 and Polk called the raise. The {A-Diamonds} river filled a backdoor flush draw and Polk checked to his opponent. Matsuzuki fired 185,000 and Polk released his hand after a brief thought.
