Anderson Extends Lead

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Calvin Anderson: {X-}{X-} / {3-}{9-}{4-}{3-} / {X-}
Julien Martini: {X-}{X-} / {8-}{4-}{Q-}{K-} / {X-}

Calvin Anderson completed and Julien Martini called. Martini bet fourth and Anderson called before Anderson bet fifth and picked up a call. Anderson paired his trey on sixth and Martini checked, then called a bet by Anderson. On seventh, Anderson bet and Martini raised, which sent Anderson into a very brief think tank. He then called and Martini showed {8-}{7-}{3-}, he had paired his eight and ended up with a queen-eight.

Anderson had the {J-}{6-}{5-} and won the pot with a nine-six. Both talked about the hand right after before heading into the 15-minute break, Anderson adding "It is a good raise if you have it."
