"That's How You Become the Champion"

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Bogdan Capitan chipped up on the outer table while defending champion James Calderaro was left short.

Ben Yu then raised on the button to 140,000 and Calderaro moved all in for 355,000 in the small blind. "It's about the principle," Calderaro joked. Robert Mizrachi gave it some thought in the big blind and folded, Yu quickly called.

James Calderaro: {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Ben Yu: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

"All diamonds please, six high," Calderaro demanded.

The board came {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Calderaro got there with two pair on the river.

"Nines and sevens? Boom, yeah," Calderaro said.

"That's how you become the champion, "Yu replied with a very dry smile on his face.
