Seidel Doubles Through Koon

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Jason Koon used the nearby money bubble to increase his stack by quite some and Jason Mercier followed suit. Then, Koon raised the pot to 56,000 in the cutoff and short stack Mike Leah on the button gave it some thought before folding. Erik Seidel three-bet the pot in the small blind, forcing a fold from the next short stack, Kyle Bowker in the big blind.

Koon called and the flop fell {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Seidel moved all in for 188,000 and Koon called.

Erik Seidel: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Jason Koon: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

The {9-Diamonds} on the turn immediately improved Seidel to a winning full house, and that made the {K-Spades} river a formality.
