Chait Chops up a Profit

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

"I didn't put you guys on an ace deuce and was hoping for an off suit jack," Craig Chait joked when he received the low portion of the pot with his {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} on a board of {Q-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The high portion was sent over to Thomas Taylor in the nine seat, who had tabled the {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a flush.

Jenne Scoops to Stay in

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Pojana Jenne was already all in and picked up three callers in Thang Tran, Tamir Ilcafass and Shaun Deeb. Ilcafass bet the {J-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop and both remaining opponents called. On the {5-Hearts} turn, Ilcafass bet once more to isolate and showed an ace-deuce and spades flush draw. Jenne had the {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} and asked for no spades. Indeed the {6-Hearts} river was a blank and Jenne scooped the entire pot.

"Come on, Mark!"

Tim Foley was all in on a {4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} board and encouraging the dealer to deal a favorable river. Michael Hinde and Anthony Arvidson were also active in the hand and were building a sizable side pot next to the main.

The {2-Clubs} river got checked by both active players. Arvidson showed {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} for kings and fours and the high, Foley tabled {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for the nut low, and Hinde mucked.

Klodnicki Eliminated by Witteles

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 0 ante
Chris Klodnicki
Chris Klodnicki

A short-stacked Chris Klodnicki was all in and at risk with Todd Witteles and Richard Weeks still to act. Witteles bet the {J-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} river and Weeks called.

Witteles turned over {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a full house and the nut low. Klodnicki had already grabbed his stuff and left the table, exposing the {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a busted flush draw and worse low. Weeks had {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for the same nut low and busted nut flush draw. "He blocked your spades," said Weeks, to which Witteles replied "ah, that's why there was all the action."

Pinto Escapes Elimination

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

A short-stacked John Pinto was already all in versus two players heading to the {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop when a bet by Brandon Ageloff isolated to create the following showdown.

John Pinto: {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Brandon Ageloff: {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}

Ageloff had flopped bottom two pair while Pinto had top pair and a gutshot. The {4-Hearts} turn and {10-Clubs} river completed the board and Pinto rivered a set to stay in contention.

"Nice river," Ageloff said.

"I never hit the river, Pinto replied. Have to gamble with no chips."

Frank Kassela
Frank Kassela

Allen Kessler has boosted his stack signficantly early on and Frank Kassela just took the remaining stack of Sergey Zaporozhets on the very same table.

With the completed board already showing {Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, Kassela had flipped over {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a full house and a low and the Russian mucked. Per the all-in showdown rule, his cards had to be exposed and the {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} of Zaporozhets were revealed.
