Esfandiari Gets It on the River

Level 13 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Rick Salomon opened from the hijack for what appeared to be 200,000 and Antonio Esfandiari called from the big blind. Both players checked the {5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, and then Esfandiari bet 275,000 on the {9-Clubs} turn. Salomon called and the {8-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Esfandiari fired again, this time 605,000, and it did the trick as Salomon released his cards.

Level 13 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Jacks for Haxton

Level 13 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

From early-middle position, Isaac Haxton raised to what looked to be 185,000. Christoph Vogelsang called on the button, and everyone else folded before the dealer spread the {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop. Both players checked.

The turn was the {A-Clubs}, and both players checked again. Then, the {K-Spades} fell on the river to complete the board. Haxton and Vogelsang both checked.

Haxton showed the {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, and Vogelsang mucked his hand.

Seiver Loves Full House

Level 13 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Just before the level went up, Scott Seiver raised to 190,000 from the hijack and then called when Antonio Esfandiari raised to 505,000 from the small blind, which brought about a flop of {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{k-Hearts}. Esfandiari bet 510,000, Seiver called, and the {K-Spades} turn put three kings on board.

Both players checked, and then the {8-Hearts} put a full house on board. Esfandiari checked, and Seiver gave it some thought before moving all in for 2.225 million. Esfandiari quickly folded.

Reinkemeier Drops the Hammer

Level 12 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Tobias Reinkemeier raised to 200,000 from under the gun and it folded over to Doug Polk who made it 725,000 to go from the button. The blinds folded and action came back to Reinkemeier who cut out a four-bet to 1.1 million. Polk flatted and the two took a flop.

The dealer fanned {7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and Reinkemeier continued out for 750,000. Polk quickly released and Reinkemeier pulled in the chips.

Esfandiari vs. Schwartz: Only One Will Survive

Level 12 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Noah Schwartz
Noah Schwartz

After Noah Schwartz raised the button and Antonio Esfandiari called from the big blind, the flop came out {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and "The Magician" bet 205,000. Schwartz took his time before making the call, and then the dealer burned and turned the {2-Clubs}.

Esfandiari bet 405,000, Schwartz moved all in for 2.4 million, and Esfandiari snap-called.

Esfandiari: {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Schwartz: {10-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Schwartz held top pair, but he was drawing dead as Esfandiari had flopped the nuts. The meaningless {4-Clubs} was put out on the river to make it official, and then Schwartz grabbed his bag and exited the feature table area.
