Hillock Spikes River to Double

Level 33 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante
Joshua Hillock
Joshua Hillock

From the cutoff, Joshua Hillock moved all in for 3,785,000, and with the action on Zachary Gruneberg in the small blind, he pushed all in.

Hillock: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Gruneberg: {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}

With Hillock racing for his tournament life, the {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} flop would give Gruneberg the lead as the {5-Clubs} landed on the turn.

"A diamond perhaps?" asked Hillock.

The dealer wouldn't deliver a diamond, but the {9-Hearts} instead to give Hillock a set of nines and the double to to 8 million as Gruneberg slip to 21.2 million in chips.
