McKeehen Doubles with Kings

Level 34 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante

Thayer Rasmussen opened with a raise to 500,000 only to have Jason Leifer three-bet the button to 1,150,000. With the action on Joseph McKeehen in the small blind, he moved all in for 3,295,000 total.

Rasmussen mucked, and after a few minutes of deliberation, Leifer made the call.

Leifer: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
McKeehen: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The {J-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop kept McKeehen in the lead, and when the {10-Spades} landed on the turn all he would need to fade would be any ace or king.

The river landed the {2-Hearts} and McKeehen more than doubled to 6.5 million as Leifer slipped down to 2.4 million in chips.

Segebrecht Takes From Gruneberg

Level 34 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante

Zach Gruneberg opened to 550,000 from under the gun, Claas Segebrecht called from the hijack and Josh Hillock called from the small blind.

The flop fell {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Hillock checked to Gruneberg who bet 850,000. Segebrecht called, Hillock folded and the {8-Spades} landed on the turn. Gruneberg checked this time and Segebrecht fired what looked to be 1.4 million. A call from Gruneberg resulted in the {2-Diamonds} river which both players checked.

Segebrecht tabled {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}, besting Gruneberg's {A-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} to win the pot.
