Aces Versus Kings, Battle of the Shorties

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Steven Norden doubled up through an opponent after the open-raise and the three-bet of Joe Ebanks on the button to 17,000. Norden had {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} one seat over and the initial raiser got into a showdown with him with pocket kings for 121,000 chips. The {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board stayed clear and the opponent was down to only a few big blinds.

Said opponent then moved all in and Allan Farber did so as well with 1,000 chips more, revealing {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} in the showdown. The opponent turned over {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and flushed Farber on the {8-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board. One hand later, Farber's remaining chips disappeared via lost coin flip with {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} versus {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.
