Schneider Is Not Done Yet

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Tom Schneider folded his big and small blind against raises and dropped to as low as 10,000. He then chopped a hand with {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades} versus {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts}. One hand later he called all in for 15,000 after a raise from Terrence Hastoo and Thomas Keller called from the small blind.

They checked the {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop and Keller then bet 20,000 each on the {3-Diamonds} turn and {4-Diamonds} river. Hastoo called and they chopped the low pot whereas Keller won some off Hastoo on the high pot. Schneider raked in the high pot.

Schneider: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Hastoo: {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Keller: {4-Spades}{A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Schneider Gives It Up

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Stud Hi-Low

There was already 85,000 pulled into the pot when we caught the action on seventh between Tom Schneider and Robert Mizrachi.

Mizrachi: {x-}{x-} / {6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts} / {x-}
Schneider: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs} / {x-}

It appeared Mizrachi bet, Schneider raised, and Mizrachi three-bet to 60,000. Schneider, who only had 25,000 left, seemed perplexed by the three-bet and thought for a long time before releasing his hand and showing his down cards — {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.

Leah Cannot Hit Everything

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

It seems as if Mike Leah has been hitting everything. In a hand against Erik Seidel he was betting on all streets of a {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{7-Hearts} board and then announced "I got it" after Seidel tossed in the final 20,000 chips. Leah tabled {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} for quads.

Stud Hi-Low

He then started a stud hand with {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} / {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} but bricked thereafter with {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} / {10-Diamonds} against the fives and threes of Tyson Marks.

Owais Ahmed Eliminated in 15th Place ($9,462)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Owais Ahmed - 15th Place
Owais Ahmed - 15th Place

Stud Hi-Low

We picked up the action on fourth street when a short-stacked Owais Ahmed got his remaining chips all in against Fu Wong.

Ahmed: {2-Spades}{j-Spades} / {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Spades} / {K-Hearts}
Wong: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} / {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} / {3-Spades}

Ahmed got it in with jacks, but it was no good as Wong had split aces. Fifth street didn't change much, but Ahmed took a temporary lead when he hit two pair on sixth. Unfortunately for him Wong received his card and made a better two pair.

Ahmed was unable to improve on seventh and was eliminated from the tournament in 15th place for $9,462.

Aces No Good For McHugh

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Christopher McHugh raised to 20,000 from early position and got four callers to see the {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop. He continued for 10,000 and Joe Tehan raised to 20,000. John Kabbaj stayed in the hand as well and then all checked the {Q-Hearts} turn and {6-Hearts} river. McHugh announced aces and Kabbaj mucked, but Tehan showed {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{2-Clubs} as winning hand.

Konstantin Puchkov Eliminated in 16th Place ($9,462)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Konstantin Puchkov - 16th Place
Konstantin Puchkov - 16th Place

Stud Hi-Low

Before the two-table redraw was conducted, the field lost WSOP bracelet winner Konstantin Puchkov.

It happened when Mike Leah completed with the {a-Hearts} and then called when Puchkov raised with the {7-Spades}. Both players checked fourth street and then Leah bet 20,000 on fifth. Puchkov called off for 15,000.

Leah: {10-Hearts}{3-Spades} / {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} / {7-Diamonds}
Puchkov: {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs} / {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {Q-Clubs}

Puchkov got it in good with a pair of sevens, but Leah paired his king on sixth to take the lead. Leah failed to improve on seventh street, but so did Puchkov. That sent the Russian home in 16th place for $9,462.
