Another Pot For Martirosyan

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
David Martirosyan
David Martirosyan

David Martirosyan has started the final table in good form and has added another sizeable pot to his stack.

Martirosyan opened to 20,000 from late position and the only caller was Kazu Oshima on the button. Martirosyan checked on the {K-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flop and Oshima checked behind.

On the {4-Spades} turn, Martirosyan led for 32,000 and Oshima wasted little time in calling. The {A-Hearts} river was met with a bet of 47,000 from Martirosyan and this was enough to get Oshima to fold.

Martirosyan Reels In large Pot

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Dean Bui made an uncharacteristic limp into the pot from early position, David Martirosyan limped in behind on the button, Ahmed Amin completed his small blind and Tom McCormick checked his option in the big blind.

The four watched on as the {8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop came into view and all four checked in turn. The turn brought the {Q-Diamonds} into play and the action checked to Bui who fired a bet of 18,000.

Martirosyan paused for close to 90 seconds before counting out a raise of 54,000. Both blinds instantly folded, but Bui stuck around and called

Bui checked to his now sole opponent on the arrival of the {2-Clubs} river and, again after a long pause, Martirosyan fired a bet, this time one weighing in at 130,000. Bui had seen enough and folded, leaving Martirosyan to win the pot.
