We caught the action on a flop when Chance Kornuth put out a big bet and Barry Greenstein called off for 13,000 or so.
Greenstein:
Kornuth:
Greenstein got it in good with aces, but Kornuth had paired his king and held a flush draw.
The turn actually completed that flush draw, and after the was run out on the river, Greenstein shook hands with Kornuth and then took his leave from Event #61:$10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha.

There will be no repeat for defending champion Jan-Peter Jachtmann as he has been eliminated. We didn't catch the hand but Jason Mercier, who was seated at the same table, was kind enough to fill us in on some details.
According to him, Tom Marchese crippled Jachtmann and then finished the job. In the final hand, Jachtmann got his stack all in preflop holding the and was up against Marchese's . The flop gave Jachtmann the lead with a pair of eights and a flush draw, but Marchese took it back when the turn paired his king. The river gave Marchese two pair and would be the last card Jachtmann would see in the very event he won one year ago.

Paul Pierce, John Kabbaj and a third player were involved in action on the flop. Pierce checked, and Kabbaj fired a bet of 1,600. The third player folded, then Pierce made the call to see the pair the board on the turn. Pierce checked, and Kabbaj checked back.
The river completed the board with the , and Pierce reached into his stack. He tossed out a bet of 2,000, and Kabbaj called.
Pierce rolled over the for a full house, tens full of sevens, and Kabbaj mucked his hand. With this pot, Pierce increased to 127,000 while Kabbaj slipped back to 30,000.

Five players put in 2,000 apiece to see a flop of . Three checks put action on high-stakes online pro Ben "Bttech86" Tollerene and he bet the size of the pot, which was 10,000. The button folded and then 2009 WSOP Player of the Year Jeff Lisandro, who won three bracelets that year and notched six cashes for $807,52, raised from the small blind. The rest of the players folded and Tollerene called off his remaining 3,700.
Lisandro:
Tollerene:
It was a bad spot for Tollerene as his flush draw was no good and his pair of sevens was dominated by Lisandro's pair of tens. The turn opened up some straight opportunities for Tollerene, and he managed to his it when the completed the board on the river.
Tollerene more than doubled while Lisandro clenched his jaw and got back to business.

"Hey Jason," was the yell over from Jared Bleznick, sitting one table away from Jason Mercier.
"What's up, bro?" responded Mercier.
"I've busted nine people in this tournament.," said Bleznick.
"Nine?" questioned Mercier. "Do you have over 300K?"
"No, but I'm over 250K," came back Bleznick.
"I'm not impressed," said Mercier.
A few seconds passed, and then Bleznick added, "Funny thing is, I'm even money to make it to Day 3."
