Johnson Doubles With Kings

Level 17 : 0/0, 3,000 ante

Dan Johnson was all in with his {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. He was in good shape to double preflop against Joshua Macciello and his {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}.

Johnson asked for low cards and he was fine with the flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}. The turn was a small sweat with the {5-Spades} but the river {2-Hearts} kept Johnson happy. Johnson doubled to 320,000, while Macciello moved down to 150,000.

Panzica Doubles With Lucky Sevens

Level 17 : 0/0, 3,000 ante

Samuel Panzica is back up to 215,000 after doubling through Joshua Macciello moments ago.

Macciello opened the betting and then called when Panzica three-bet all in for 106,000 in total.

Macciello: {K-Spades}{J-Spades}
Panzica: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

Panzica's sevens stayed good on the {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, and on the {6-Diamonds} turn. The {10-Diamonds} turn was a relative blank and Panzica climbed to 215,000 in chips.

Level 17 : 0/0, 3,000 ante
Jason Manger
Jason Manger

Jason Manger opened to 5,000, and was called by Daniel Johnson, before Josh Macciello raised it up to 20,000. Manger then immediately shoved all in for 100,000 in chips, as Johnson’s hand flew into the muck. Macciello snap called the bet, as both players tabled their cards.

Macciello: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Manger: {a-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, as Manger was left drawing dead on the turn, when Macciello made the nut flush.

Players went on an hour dinner break. They will return and play down to a final table after they get their break.

Artur Koren Eliminated in 14th Place ($9,628)

Level 16 : 0/0, 2,000 ante
Artur Koren
Artur Koren

The action started with Artur Koren opening to 50,000 in chips. He had left himself 11,500 behind, as one-by-one, his opponents folded, as it arrived at Blair Hinkle. He spent a good minute or so deliberating over the call, before finally mucking his hand. Louis Bonnecaze was the last player to act, and he tanked for a few minutes as well, before accidentally announcing "call", even though he was meant to go all in.

The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, and Koren threw in his last 11,500, and Bonnecaze called, with 500 less.

Koren: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Bonnecaze: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Koren was unable to catch a higher pair, as the board ran out the {4-Hearts} and {8-Clubs} to see him fall to just 500 in chips.

In the next hand, Koren was all in for a quarter of the ante, and after Chris Moorman’s bet of 7,000 scared everyone else out of the pot, the cards were shown.

Koren: {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Moorman: {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}

This time the board favored Koren, as it ran out {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}, to see him move up to 3,500, after turning two-pair.

In the third and final hand, five players limped into the pot, as did Koren (leaving himself 1,000 behind), before Tommy Vedes raised it up to 11,500. It was enough to bring instant folds from everyone, before Koren called.

Koren: {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Veded: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

Again, Koren took the lead, when the flop fell {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. However, Vedes regained his lead, when the {a-Spades} fell on the turn, and it was all over for Koren, when the {k-Hearts} completed the board.

Manger Finds a Double

Level 16 : 0/0, 2,000 ante

Sam Panzica brought in, before Jason Manger announced all in, totalling 55,500 in chips. Daniel Johnson was to his immediate left, and asked for a count, before making the call. The rest of the table folded, before both players tabled their cards.

Manger: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Johnson: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{Q-Spades}, to see Manger make a full house, doubling him back up to 125,500 in chips.

Four players limped into the pot, before Steve Karp committed his remaining 18,500 in chips. Horacio Chaves, who was the player who brought in, made the call, as the other three got out of the way.

Karp: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Chaves: {A-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Karp received a promising flop, having additional outs to a straight. Unfortunately for him, the board ran out the {q-Diamonds} and {A-Spades} to see him eliminated, collecting $9,628 for his efforts.

David Vamplew Eliminated in 16th Place ($7,697)

Level 16 : 0/0, 2,000 ante
David Vamplew
David Vamplew

Preflop Tommy Vedes raised to 9,000. Action folded to David Vamplew. He decided to move all in. Vedes had a tough decision that gave him grief for nearly 2 minutes. Eventually he made the call and the cards are flipped.

Vedes: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Vamplew: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Vamplew was behind and at the risk. The flop came {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. The turn came the {8-Clubs}. The river the {j-Spades}. With that Vamplew had to exit and Vedes took his stack up to 340,000.

Vedes wanted to send out a message to Vamplew by self-titleing this hand "Greek Warlord Slays Harry Potter"
