Marco Johnson Quarters Jarred Graham and Doubles Through Noomis Jones

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Marco Johnson raised to 105,000 on the button and Jarred Graham called from the small blind. The flop came down {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Graham bet the 240,000 pot. Johnson called all in for 235,000 after a few moments with {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Graham was behind with {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and only managed a quarter of the pot after the {3-Diamonds} turn and {K-Diamonds} river fell.

Shortly thereafter, Johnson opened to 60,000 in the hijack and Noomis Jones three-bet the pot to 225,000. Johnson called after a few moments and the flop came down {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Johnson went all in for 350,000 and Jones called instantly.

Johnson: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Jones: {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}

The {9-Clubs} turn and {J-Spades} river meant there was no low in play, and Johnson's pair of aces with his queen kicker took down the pot.

Loni Harwood Eliminated in 6th Place ($39,803)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Loni Harwood
Loni Harwood

No more then two hands after Eric Rodawig busted in 7th place, Loni Harwood bowed out in 6th. It was once again Noomis Jones who did the dirty work, as he started the hand by raising to 90,000. Harwood made the call, and they went heads up to a flop of {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Jones was first to act, and he announced pot, a bet of 225,000. Harwood then shoved all in, and Jones made the call.

Harwood: {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Jones: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Both stacks were virtually even, though Harwood was the one at risk with just 20,000 less than Jones. Harwood was looking for any low card for half the pot, or a four would scoop the pot for her. The turn was the {3-Clubs}, and Harwood was down to her last card. That card was the {q-Hearts}, and Harwood was eliminated, taking home just under $40,000.

Meanwhile, Jones has emerged as the biggest threat to Barry Greenstein and his mountain of chips, as Jones is now up to 985,000.

Eric Rodawig Eliminated in 7th Place ($30,275)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Eric Rodawig
Eric Rodawig

Noomis Jones raised to 105,000 in early position, and as soon as it folded to Eric Rodawig in the big blind, he announced "pot". Jones said he was all in, and Rodawig called him down.

Rodawig: {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Jones: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}

The flop came down {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and Jones took the lead with a pair of kings. Rodawig was looking for any low card to take half the pot, but he didn't get it on the {9-Clubs} turn, or the {k-Clubs} river.

Rodawig will take home just over $30,000 for his efforts, while Jones is now up to 500,000.

Harwood Doubles Through Johnson

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Marco Johnson raised it up to 70,000 from the hijack, and it folded around to Loni Harwood, who moved all in for 250,000. Johnson called, and the cards were tabled.

Johnson: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Harwood: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}

Harwood couldn't have asked for a better flop as it came down {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Johnson could only hope for a five to chop the pot, or runner runner for a full house, but neither of those came, as the board completed {q-Spades} and {6-Hearts}.

Joao Simao Eliminated in 8th Place ($23,338)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Joao Simao - 8th Place
Joao Simao - 8th Place

Marco Johnson raised to 60,000 in the cutoff and Noomis Jones called from the small blind. Joao Simao three-bet all in from the big blind for 90,000 total and Johnson reraised the pot.

"I don't understand why you would do that," Jones said before folding.

Johnson: {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Simao: {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

The flop came down {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, giving Simao a flush draw. The {A-Clubs} turn paired Johnson, but gave Simao the nut low. However, the {3-Spades} river fell to give Johnson a wheel to scoop the pot and score the elimination.

Greenstein Quarters Rodawig

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Eric Rodawig made it 70,000 from the cutoff, and Barry Greenstein was the lone caller from the button. The flop ran down {8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, and Rodawig bet out 100,000. In just a few seconds, Greenstein announced all in, and Rodawig called it off.

Rodawig: {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Greenstein: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Both players shared the nut low draw, and Rodawig was in the lead for the high with his pair of jacks. Greenstein was looking for a hear to complete his flush, and though the turn was the {10-Diamonds}, the river was the {4-Hearts}. This gave Greenstein the nut flush, and they split the low.

Graham and Blumenthal Chop

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Jarred Graham raised to 60,000 from the hijack and Gabriel Blumenthal called from the big blind.

Both checked the {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop and when the {7-Hearts} hit the turn, Blumenthal bet 45,000. A call from Graham landed the {A-Diamonds} river and Blumenthal bet again, this time 75,000. Graham raised the pot, which was 450,000.

Blumenthal tanked for about three minutes before calling all in for roughly 390,000 with {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a 7-6 low with a pair of aces. Graham showed {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} for aces full of eights, chopping up the pot.

Perry Green Eliminated in 9th Place ($18,233)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Perry Green
Perry Green

Perry Green came into today with a slight chip lead, but he wasn't able to ride it to the end, as he was just eliminated in ninth place. Barry Greenstein made it 75,000 to go from the small blind, and Green called from the big blind. The flop came down {3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, and Greenstein fired out 100,000. Green then moved all in, and greenstein made the call.

Greenstein: {2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Green: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

Greenstein had the nut low draw, and could also catch a nine to take the high part of the hand. Well, the dealer obliged with a {9-Spades} on the turn, and Green was looking fora club and a club only. The river was black, but it was the {5-Spades}, and Green became our first final table causality.

Meanwhile, Greenstein extended his already lengthy chip lead, as he now has 1.56 million.
