Over the in Bronze Section of the Brasilia Room the group of women known as "The Grindettes" are well represented.
Katie Dozier and Katie Stone are just one table apart near the top of the section. Jamie Kerstetter is also in the Bronze Section but she's on the other side of the section all by her lonesome.
Ronny Kaiser started the day as one of the bigger stacks in the Pavilion, but lost a solid chunk of change on the second hand of the day.
We found Kaiser open the action to 3,300 from middle position. The player in the hijack made it 7,300 to go, only to have Yuval Bronshtein four-bet to 20,000 from the button.
Action was back on Kaiser and he went into the tank for about a minute and a half before opting to five-bet to 41,300. The player in the hijack folded and action was back on Bronshtein. After some deliberation, Bronshtein moved all in for 147,900 total. Kaiser thought about it for about two minutes before releasing his hand.
Kaiser started the day with over 300,000 in chips but is now sitting on 270,000.
Jason Somerville got his day off to a fast start. We missed the action but Somerville was nice enough to give us the Cliff's Notes.
The player in the cutoff opened, Somerville flatted on the button, the small blind moved all in, the cutoff moved all in and Somerville called.
Somerville:
Cutoff:
Small Blind:
The board ran and Somerville's flopped full house eliminated two opponents. He quickly soared into the chip lead. While he was stacking his chips the dealer said something to the effect that he could just back home.
"Let's just bag up now and go home," Somerville said.
Faraz Jaka has always been known as a fast and loose player, who isn't afraid to bet big with air. This was just on display, as we saw him fold to a five bet shove. Action started with Ryan Pochedly raising it up to 3,700 in the cutoff. Jonathan Seelbach was next to act on the button, and he three bet to 9,000.
Jaka was next to act in the small blind, and he thought for about 30 seconds before grabbing his chips, and firing out a four bet to 24,800. It got back to Pochedly, and he quickly got out of the way. Now it was on Seelbach, and he thought for about 20 seconds before moving all in. It took Jaka about 2 seconds to fold his cards, giving the pot over to Seelbach.

Howard Slawner moved all in preflop for around 25,000 only to have Amit Zulkowitz move all in over the top right behind. The rest of the field got out of the way and the cards were turned on their backs.
Showdown
Zulkowitz
Slawner
The board ran out and Slawner shook hands with Zulkowitz before making his exit. As Zulkowitz was stacking his chips, he looked at the dealer and simply said, "I wanna kiss you."
Meanwhile, Adam Levy, Lasse Aastad Kjos, Fred Berger and Matthew Livingston have all hit the rail early in Level 11.
Phil Galfond opened to 3,600 from under the gun, Shannon Shorr called in middle position, and Bryan Vanrijsbergen three-bet to 11,300 on the button.
Galfond studied Vanrijsbergen for twenty seconds or so, then looked down at his own stack. He reached for a handful of orange T5,000 chips, and four-bet to 27,100. Shorr and Vanrijsbergen folded quickly, and Galfond picked up the pot.
Mayu Roca Uribe started today as one of the many short stacks hoping to score an early double-up and gain some ground on Day 3.
Soon after play began, Uribe was all in for his last 15,000 or so with against an opponent holding . The board came badly for Uribe, with the first three community cards coming to pair his opponent. The turn then gave Uribe's opponent a flush, making the no matter and sending Uribe to the rail.
