When we reached Table 429, the board read {8-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {a-Clubs} . Sorel Mizzi led out for 3,200, and Anthony Spinella called. Both players checked when the {k-Hearts} turned, and the {6-Hearts} completed the board. Mizzi checked, and Spinella fired 5,700. Mizzi check-raised to 16,200, and Spinella check-folded.

Right at the start of the day we lost Lex Veldhuis. Taylor Paur raised from the button to 2,500 and Veldhuis shoved from the big blind all in. Paur called with aces and Veldhuis was in big trouble with .

He didn't managed to catch up, and was one of the first players to bust on day two.

Jason Mercier is among the returning players.

There are 167 players remaining out of the 474 that started, but only 48 will get paid. The race for the money is on, and there are plenty of top-notch players still in the hunt!

Play will be very deep-stacked today, and the average comes down to just over 70 big blinds. Of course that doesn't matter that much for most players, and big all ins will be all over the place. Carter Phillips had his aces fully paid off by JC Tran yesterday, Tristan Wade got Harrison Gimbel to seven-bet his nines all in, and that is some of the action we are looking forward to again today.

Taylor Paur (152,800) and Chris Moorman (111,300), who both made the final table of this event last year, have a good chance at racking up another cash in this event, just like Williams Reynolds, Sean Getzwiller, Aaron Jones and Chris DeMaci who are also looking for back-to-back cashes.

Play will resume at 1:00 PM local time, and ten levels will be played today.
