Viktor Blom was near the top of the standings a few hours ago, but he just lost a pot to Ali Eslami knocking him down to under twice the starting stack.

Blom raised from late-position and Eslami made the call from the button. The flop came down {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} and both players checked.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} , and Blom bet 12,600. Eslami made the call, and the river was the {3-Spades} . Blom fired out 26,000 this time, and Eslami called him right away. Blom mucked his cards, and Eslami showed {A-Spades} {J-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {9-Hearts} for top two pair to take down the pot.

We just heard that Richard Ashby managed to double his stack to the expense of Doyle Brunson.

In a blind battle all the chips went in, and Ashby showed {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} . Brunson turned over {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} and couldn't catch up as the board ran out {9-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {8-Clubs} {5-Clubs} .

Brunson is knocked back down to 88,000 while Ashby is right around starting stack.
